<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This paper addresses the problem of safe control of a six-degree-of-freedom robotic manipulator operating in a constrained workspace containing obstacles and potential singular configurations. The aim of the study is to develop an integrated control algorithm that simultaneously ensures obstacle avoidance and singularity prevention while maintaining high end-effector positioning accuracy. The proposed methodology combines a PID controller in Cartesian space, the Damped Least Squares method, and the projection of secondary tasks into the null space. To prevent collisions, an Artificial Potential Field module is used to generate repulsive velocities at the link level. This structure allows adaptive motion regulation under varying workspace geometries and maintains the system manipulability near singular points. Numerical simulation results for two scenarios demonstrate that the proposed algorithm enables the manipulator to reach the target point with a residual positioning error of less than 0.05 m, while the minimum distance to the nearest obstacle remained above 0.18 m, and the manipulability index stayed higher than 0.8. The manipulator exhibited stable behavior without collisions or singularities, confirming the effectiveness and real-time applicability of the developed approach.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>робот-манипулятор</kwd><kwd>избегание препятствий</kwd><kwd>сингулярности</kwd><kwd>метод псевдоинверсии с демпфированием</kwd><kwd>нульпространство</kwd><kwd>планирование траектории</kwd><kwd>метод искусственных потенциальных полей</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>robotic manipulator</kwd><kwd>obstacle avoidance</kwd><kwd>singularity</kwd><kwd>damped least squares</kwd><kwd>null space</kwd><kwd>trajectory planning</kwd><kwd>artificial potential fields</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Beck F., Vu M.N., Hartl-Nešić C., Kugi A.
